It is important for family business to stick to certain principles: the goods are produced in Portugal in a fair and environmentally friendly manner, the designs are handpicked and painted. The result? Unique pieces to fall in love with!
Who is behind it?
Anna von Hellberg, Art Director & mother of a daughter and a son and Laura Castien, Illustrator, Graphic Designer & mother of two daughters: The two creative minds behind Motel a Miio have known each other since school and love to travel - after spending many years abroad, both have set foot in their hometown of Munich.
Now they travel together with their families - preferably to Portugal. And this is where the Motel a Miio journey started!
