This statement applies to the online shop at www.motelamiio.com, operated by Motel a Miio GmbH. It is important to us that all users – regardless of their abilities or limitations – can use our shop and place orders with us. We work continuously to improve accessibility.

1. Description of the service

At www.motelamiio.com, consumers can buy handmade ceramics from Portugal – including tableware and tableware sets, plates, cups and mugs, bowls, serveware, cutlery, breakfast and children's tableware, kitchen accessories, as well as vases and other home accessories. The service covers in particular product search, selecting items, the shopping cart, and the order and payment process.

2. Status of accessibility

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and the harmonised standard EN 301 549. As things currently stand, the online shop partially meets these requirements. Accessibility was last reviewed in June 2025.

Due to ongoing technical development and changes to our content, occasional new accessibility issues may arise. We assure you, however, that all shortcomings known to us have been remedied to the best of our knowledge and belief.

The following settings can make our shop easier to use:

• Orientation and screen readers: The pages are structured with headings, which supports orientation, including when using screen readers such as NVDA, VoiceOver or TalkBack.
