Terms and Conditions of Participation

Instagram Competition

The use of the generic masculine on this page is intended for linguistic simplicity and should be understood as gender-neutral, including persons of all genders equally.

Participation in the competition organised by Motel a Miio GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organiser, is free of charge and exclusively subject to these terms and conditions. You can find the participation conditions for the Instagram competition below.

 

1. Competition Procedure

The competition runs from 19th June 2024, 16:00 until 23rd June 2024, 23:59.

 

2. Participation

Follow Motel a Miio & Ju Schnee on Instagram, like the post, and tag two friends in the comments.

Entries submitted after the competition’s end date will not be considered for the draw. Each participant is only allowed to enter the competition once. Participation in the competition is free of charge.

 

3. Eligibility

Eligible participants are natural persons who reside in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland and have reached the age of 18. Participation is not limited to customers of the organiser. If a participant has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required. All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition, as well as employees of the operator and their family members, are excluded from participation. The operator also reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation at its discretion if justified reasons exist, such as

a. manipulation related to access to or the execution of the competition,

b. violations of these terms and conditions,

c. unfair conduct, or

d. false or misleading information related to participation in the competition.

 

4. Prize, Notification and Delivery of the Prize

The following prize will be awarded:

2 x 1 Viparita Ju Schnee Vase in L orange

 

The winners will be selected by a random draw. The draw will only include participants who have personally and correctly completed all the required fields and questions for participation in the competition and have submitted them online to Motel a Miio GmbH. Entries must be received by Motel a Miio GmbH by the specified deadline.

The prize will only be awarded to the winner or the legal representative of a minor winner. Exchange, collection in person, and cash payment of the prize are not possible.

Shipping costs will be covered by Motel a Miio GmbH. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize will be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize.

If the winner does not respond within 48h of being contacted twice, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

 

5. Termination of the Competition

The organiser expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without stating reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the planned execution of the competition.

 

6. Data Protection

Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the information provided, particularly their first name, surname, and telephone number and/or email address, is truthful and correct. The organiser points out that all personal data of the participant will not be passed on to third parties without consent, nor made available to them for use. In the event of winning, the participant agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the operator’s website and social media platforms, as well as other communication channels.

The participant can revoke their consent at any time. The revocation must be submitted in writing to the contact details provided in the organiser's imprint. After revocation of consent, the participant’s collected and stored personal data will be deleted immediately.

 

7. Applicable Law

Questions or complaints related to the competition should be directed to the operator. Contact details can be found in the organiser’s imprint. The competition of the operator is exclusively subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The legal process is excluded.

 

8. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that most closely approximates the economic purpose of the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a gap in these terms and conditions.
