Motel a Miio wants to make unique ceramics accessible to anyone who loves the finer things in life. It is important for family business to stick to certain principles: the goods are produced in Portugal in a fair and environmentally friendly manner, the designs are handpicked and painted. The result? Unique pieces to fall in love with!
Who is behind it?
Anna von Hellberg, 35, art director & mother of a daughter, and Laura Castien, 35, illustrator, graphic designer & mother of two daughters: The two creative minds behind Motel a Miio have known each other since school and love to travel - after many years abroad both have gained a foothold in their hometown of Munich.
Now they travel with their families - preferably to Portugal. And this is where the Motel a Miio journey started!
